This luxury 5 bed villa is a haven of peace and tranquility in the Moroccan countryside. Located just 25 minutes from Marrakech airport, Dar Saffron is a contemporary house in the style of a traditional casbah. Relax by the 15 x 5 metre pool while sipping a cocktail, or engage in a competitive game of croquet under the stunning views of the Atlas mountains. The lounge room also has a fire place for chillier desert evenings and small cinema room where you can stretch out on a comfortable day and enjoy a film together. The main bedroom overlooks the magnificent stables, and has a beautiful ensuite bathroom and private verandah.

The Neighbourhood

Dar Saffron is located on a quiet country road near the small town of Tamesluht, with an attractive backdrop of the High Atlas mountains. It’s less than a half an hour drive from Jemaa el-Fna and the souks of  Marrakech. Some of the most prestigious hotels and facilities are based in this district, including the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club, Marrakech Golf Club, Beldi Country Club and Ritz Carlton Residences. All have restaurants and swimming pools, and some have spas which you can use during your stay. Other activities in the area include horse riding and polo playing.The villa is well placed for day trips to the High Atlas mountains and berber villages. A pleasant day trip is Barrage Lalla Takerkoust, where lunch or a snack can be enjoyed at La Flouka, overlooking the lake.Around 9 am on weekdays, you may be fortunate to get your own private aerobatic show, as the Royal Moroccan Air Force Marche Verte Aerobatic Team often practice spectacular stunts in the area.
